Final exams for University of Hawai'i student-athletes ended Friday and now it is time for you, the student-athlete-fan, to take writing instrument in hand and test your knowledge of some of the headlines and lesser-known events of the sporting year at UH.

Now, nobody expects you to have memorized Vince Goo's winning percentage or Natasha Kai's scoring average, but there are standards.

Feel free to correct your own paper, but if you miss more than two, consider yourself on fan probation for next season.

1.This summer athletic director Herman Frazier serves as "Chef de Mission" in Athens. What will he be doing there exactly?

(a) Helping Sam Choy open a Breakfast Lunch & Baklava restaurant in Greece.

(b) Looking for a gyro recipe to bring back to the Stan Sheriff Center.

(c) Seeking evidence Costas Theocharidis didn't mislead UH and the NCAA.

(d) Leading the U.S. Olympic delegation.

2.When men's volleyball coach Mike Wilton drew an analogy with the, " ... shelf life of poke" back in January, what was he referring to?

(a) How long UH's next bid to host an NCAA Championship would last if this one drew just 3,000 fans.

(b) The Warriors' brief stay at No. 1 in the polls.

(c) How much longer the national championship banner was destined to hang in the rafters.

3. Kim Willoughby, the 2003 national wahine volleyball player of the year, has already tried basketball and now says she would like to be on another team at UH. Which one?

(a) The one to select the new UH system logo.

(b) Men's volleyball.

(c) Track and field.

4. As part of its merchandising effort, the school sold bobble-head dolls of which prominent UH figures at its Rainbowtique and bookstore outlets?

(a) Evan Dobelle and the Board of Regents.

(b) Tim Chang, Lily Kahumoku and Kim Willoughby.

(c) The Rainbow dancers.

(d) June Jones and Riley Wallace.

5. In an effort to boost football attendance, UH officials looked into several promotional possibilities but ruled out:

(a) Inviting William Hung to sing the national anthem.

(b) A mascot smackdown.

(c) Bringing back Cincinnati or Houston.

(d) All of the above.

6. Who showed up with an invitation from June Jones to watch football practice this spring?

(a) Simon Cowell.

(b) Pat Hill.

(c) Smarty Jones.

(d) Jerry Glanville.
