Murder-suicide suspect dies
A 52-year-old Punchbowl man who police said shot his former girlfriend and then himself on May 11 at Club Queen Bee in Kaka'ako died Tuesday at Straub Clinic & Hospital. Hwa Yong Park was pronounced dead at about 10:30 a.m.
Sun Wang, 47, who was shot twice in the head by Park, died last week at The Queen's Medical Center.
Pedestrian hit May 6 dies
A 76-year-old man who was struck by a car in Kaimuki on May 6 has died of his injuries, police said.
The man was struck by a Ford Taurus as he crossed Wai'alae Avenue near Second Avenue at about 8:15 a.m. Police said the man was carrying his 5-year-old granddaughter and in a crosswalk.
The two were taken to The Queen's Medical Center with what appeared to be minor injuries, police said. But on Tuesday the man died of his injuries, police said.
The condition of the girl was not available.

Wai'alae board seeks members
The Wai'alae Kahala Neighborhood Board hopes to fill two vacancies created by the resignations of Jane Hong and Steve Bischoff.
Hong represented the east Diamond Head area and Bischoff the Kahala area. The board will take nominations at its monthly meeting, 7 p.m. today at Wesley United Methodist Church, 1350 Hunakai St.

Visitor drowns at Ke'e Beach
An 80-year-old visitor apparently drowned Monday while swimming at Ke'e Beach on Kaua'i's north shore.
Robert Burns of Vienna, Va., was pulled from the water at about 4 p.m. Monday. Other beachgoers started cardiopulmonary resuscitation, which was continued by emergency personnel on their arrival.
Burns was pronounced dead after the ambulance arrived at Wilcox Hospital.
