Baseball 'Bows play tomorrow

Hawai'i starts a three-game Western Athletic Conference series tomorrow against Nevada in Reno, Nev.

Tomorrow's series opener begins at 11 a.m., HST. Saturday's and Sunday's games will start at 10 a.m., HST. All of the games will be broadcast live on KKEA (AM 1420).

The Rainbows will open with Ricky Bauer (8-3) against Nevada's Travis Sutton (8-4). On Saturday, UH will send Stephen Bryant (7-4) against Adam Colton (4-2). UH's Clary Carlsen (6-6) will face Ryan Rodriguez (4-7) on Sunday.

Hawai'i (12-11 WAC, 29-19 overall) is tied for second with Fresno State (12-11, 24-28), which hosts third-ranked Rice (20-3, 39-9). The Owls have already clinched the WAC title.

Nevada (12-12, 28-25), which was swept by the Owls over the weekend, is in fourth, a half-game behind UH and FSU.
