CALLS TO ARTISTS

Pana'ewa Rainforest Zoo Art Exhibit, calls for entries in any media for the juried show, scheduled for June 4-29, in child, teen and adult categories and is open to professional and amateur artists. Submit up to three works themed to relate to the zoo, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, Pana'ewa Rainforest Zoo, Hilo, Big Island. Entry fee on sliding scale of $1 to $5 based on age. Prizes will be awarded. Cinema Paradise accepting preview films in VHS format in a variety of categories including dramatic, documentary and animation which were completed in of after January 2003 for the September Festival. Hawai'i Glass Artists (formerly Hot Glass Hui) calls for glass works created by Hawai'i residents for an open show to run June 8 through July 3.
