Here's a great pet for an active household with older kids. Nani is a poi dog about 7 months old. She has a short coat of dark brown with a white blaze on her chest and adorable stand-up ears. Very playful, Nani enjoys the game of fetch.

This female Hotot rabbit is being called Cleo. She was found on April 26 and remains unclaimed at the humane society. If you have lost this white rabbit with black eyeliner and black eyes, please visit the shelter to claim her.

These particular animals already may have found new homes. The Hawaiian Humane Society and McInerny Dog Park at 2700 Wai'alae Ave. are open noon to 8 p.m. weekdays and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekends.
