Average Hawai'i gas price $2.29

The average price for regular gasoline hit a high of $2.209 a gallon in Honolulu, according to a survey released during the weekend. That helped push the statewide average for regular to a record $2.299 a gallon, according to AAA travel club.In Wailuku, Maui, the average dipped to $2.579 a gallon and in Hilo, Hawai'i, the average fell to $2.347 a gallon.
