Celebrity profiles in maternity style

 •  Hand-me-downs are hot for moms-to-be

There's no hiding it in Hollywood. While stars usually thrive on the skinniest of silhouettes, a number of celebrities are celebrating their pregnant shapes — and flaunting them.

• For casual wear, Juicy Couture yoga pants and tiny T-shirts are seen on celebs from Central Park to Rodeo Drive. The popularity of low-rise pants has made it easier for chic moms-to-be to stay in style through all nine months.

• On the red carpet, skin is in. Cleavage, side slits, halter necklines and strapless gowns by upscale maternity lines A Pea in the Pod and Liz Lange have been spotted on Toni Braxton, Helen Hunt and Marcia Gay Harden.

• Cate Blanchett prefers a more covered-up look in her blue tweed suit with a feminine bow-at-the-neck blouse, and Jane Leeves of the recently departed sitcom "Frasier" popularized A Pea in the Pod's V-neck little black dress with bell sleeves.

• Vogue editor Eve MacSweeney said she survived her recent pregnancy in designer clothes with a little stretch. Her faves? Helmut Lang, Anne Valerie Hash, Missoni and Comme des Garcons.

• For a lesson in what not to wear during pregnancy, tune in to "What Not to Wear" on BBC America. Hosts Trinny Woodall and Susannah Constantine are simultaneously pregnant and they're flouting it on air, ignoring some of the lessons they adamantly admonish their victims with.
