Statewide gasoline price hits $2.31

The average price for regular gasoline hit a high of $2.215 a gallon in Honolulu, according to the AAA travel club’s fuel survey released today. That helped push the statewide average for regular to a record $2.307 a gallon.In Wailuku, Maui, the average fell to $2.539 a gallon and in Hilo, Hawai'i, the average dipped to $2.340 a gallon.
