Tonight's Must-See

"American Idol" finale, 7 p.m., Fox. On the last night of the TV season, we learn which diva — Fantasia Barrino or Diana DeGarmo — will be the next "Idol" champion. It will bring back its final 12 contestants, promote its summer tour and show lots of commercials. Then comes fame.

"Academy of Country Music Awards," 7 p.m., CBS. It will be country vs. pop tonight, as CBS and Fox fill prime time with live shows. Reba McEntire hosts the country show and sings. Other solo stars performing include Toby Keith, Tim McGraw, George Strait, Martina McBride, Willie Nelson, Clint Black, Sara Evans, Keith Urban and Gretchen Wilson. Performers include Lonestar, Brooks & Dunn, Montgomery Gentry, Rascal Flatts and Big & Rich. There will also be duets — Brad Paisley and Alison Krauss, Vince Gill and Loretta Lynn, Kenny Chesney and Uncle Kracker.
