The second-year Islanders defender amassed 12.5 tackles, setting a team record and tying him for season-high honors with Florida's Quincy Sorrell.
Robinson's 11 solo tackles are also a franchise high. He also recovered a fumble and intercepted a pass in the first half.
Robinson is the second Islanders player to win a weekly award. Eddie Klaneski received similar honors last season.
Memphis quarterback Brian Jones was chosen the Baby Ruth Real Deal Offensive Player of the Week and Columbus wide receiver/defensive back Terence Samuel was selected the U.S. Army Ironman Player of the Week.
The Islanders (5-2) host the San Diego Riptide (2-5) in another key West Division game Friday. Kickoff at Blaisdell Arena is scheduled for 6:30 p.m.
The teams met on May 8 with the Islanders winning in overtime, 55-54, on Darnell Arceneaux's two-point conversion.
