Summer camps

• University of Hawai'i Rainbow boys & girls basketball camp: Open to boys and girls ages 5 to 17. Camp 1: June 9-11; Camp 2: June 12-14. Daily activities run from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. each day. Cost: $150 per session (includes one basketball and a T-shirt). Instruction will be provided by UH men's basketball head coach Riley Wallace and his staff, as well as current and former players. • Rainbow Wahine volleyball camp: Open to boys and girls entering grades 4 to 12. Camp 1: June 21 to 24; Camp 2: July 15 to 18; Camp 3: Aug. 3 to 6; Camp 4: Aug. 9 to12, Cost: $150. Information: 956-2496 or on the Web at uhathletics.hawaii.edu.

• University of Hawai'i track and field camp: Open to boys and girls. Session one will be an intermediate camp for boys and girls ages 13 to 18, from June 7 to 10. Session two will be an elementary camp for boys and girls ages 8 to 12, from June 21 to 23. The cost of each session is $100. Coaching staff includes UH head track and field coach Carmyn James, associate head coach Andy McInnis, and assistant coach Garrett Collier. • Hawai'i-Hilo Vulcans: The University of Hawai'i-Hilo will be offering six camps during the summer.

They are:

  • June 14 to 17—Baseball
  • June 23 to 26—Basketball
  • July 16 to 18—Softball
  • Aug. 2 to 5—Volleyball (basic skills)
  • Aug. 5 to 8—Volleyball (team skills)
  • Aug. 5 to 8—Volleyball (coaches)
