Advertiser Staff

A 30-year-old Pearl City man was arrested at Campbell Industrial Park Tuesday after he allegedly tried to run over his former boss.

Police said the man who was arrested had gotten into a confrontation with his former manager, a 35-year-old man from Hale'iwa, and tried to run him down.

Officers from the Kapolei police substation arrested the former employee for suspicion of second-degree assault. The former manager received minor injuries during the incident, police said.

Man, 26, escapes after traffic stop

Police are looking for a 26-year-old Honolulu man who escaped from custody Tuesday after a routine traffic stop, police said.

Patrol officers stopped Kristopher Kealoha near the Kina'u Street offramp on H-1 Freeway Tuesday afternoon and learned that he was wanted on a parole revocation warrant, police said. Police declined yesterday to say how Kealoha got away after he was taken into custody.

Kealoha, who also goes by the name Eric Pawai, is described as 5 feet 8, 185 pounds, with brown eyes, black hair in a pony tail, and a mustache and goatee. Kealoha has a muscular build and several tattoos, including teardrops under both eyes and writing next to his left eye and on the left side of his neck.

Kealoha is considered dangerous and may be armed, police said.
