First papio brings big smile
Marcus Chun, 19, shows off the first papio he caught, a 2-pounder. Chun, from 'Aiea, now a sophomore at Lewis & Clark College in Portland, Ore., caught the fish while free diving near Kahuku. "It put up a really good fight," Chun said of the papio. "It didn't run around for much, but it did fight pretty hard." Chun said he wants to try salmon fishing in the Northwest, but "I never get a chance, too busy."
