Chang named WAC player of the week

Advertiser Staff Writer

University of Hawai'i quarterback Tim Chang today was named the Western Athletic Conference's offensive player of the week. In Saturday's 34-23 victory over Louisiana Tech, Chang threw for 285 yards to break Ty Detmer's NCAA record for passing yards, giving Chang a total of 15,303 yards.
