A 78-year-old Honolulu woman died yesterday after a "medical condition" caused her to crash her car into a wall, police said.
At 9:20 a.m. yesterday on the third floor of the Dole Cannery parking structure, the 78-year-old driver and her 82-year-old female passenger were heading north on a ramp when the driver failed to make a left turn and hit the wall, police said.
Witnesses told police they saw her slump over the wheel of the green Subaru Forester before it hit. The driver died at The Queen's Medical Center, and her passenger was in guarded condition with neck injuries, police said.
