Sam Choy Poke Festival slated for Sunday at Turtle Bay

Chef Sam Choy has moved his poke festival back to his childhood stomping grounds. The Turtle Bay Resort/Sam Choy Poke Festival encompasses a fund-raising auction and golf tournament.

But the centerpiece event is the recipe competition, 12:30-3:30 p.m. Sunday in the Kuilima Ballroom. Tickets ($15) include sampling of poke entries as well as wine tasting. (Which wines complement poke? You'll have to attend to find out.) Information: 732-6699; www.turtlebayresort.com.
