Water park offers Veterans Day special

In honor of Veterans Day today, Hawaiian Waters Adventure Park is offering free tickets for all active duty military, Reserve, National Guard and retirees.

Or enjoy the park for only $9.39 tomorrow. Military members can bring up to four guests at the VIP rate of $17 per person on these two days. Tickets are available through Schofield Barracks (at 655-9971) or Fort Shafter (at 438-1985), but sales are limited.

If the movie "Shall We Dance?" has you interested in ballroom dancing, make a date for 8 p.m. Dec. 11, when award-winning dancers Gherman Mustuc, right, and Iveta Lukosiute perform at the Ala Wai Golf Course Palladium.
