Hagadone to buy new press
Advertiser Staff
Hagadone Printing Company, the leading commercial and publications printer in Hawai'i, said it will spend up to $10 million to purchase a state-of-the-art, heat-set web press and make other upgrades to its equipment.
"Business has been strong this year, and with Hawai'i's economy growing steadily, we find it absolutely necessary to expand our capabilities," said Erwin Hudelist, president of Hagadone.
The company will begin a major restructuring of its 100,000-square-foot Kalihi plant as early as this month to accommodate the new press, which is scheduled to begin operation by October.
