"The Incredibles" is having an incredible box-office run, dominating ticket sales for the second week with an estimated $51 million over the weekend.
In two weeks, the film has taken in $144 million, according to estimates by Exhibitor Relations Inc.
An animated Warner Bros. film, "The Polar Express," which opened last week, steamed in at $23.5 million, and the Pierce Brosnan action-heist movie "After the Sunset" stole third at $11.5 million. "Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason," came in fourth at $8.9 million. "The Seed of Chucky," with no pre-screenings, landed in fifth position at $8.7 million. (See review, E3)

What better way to relax before the Honolulu Marathon than to take in a movie a movie guest-starring the Honolulu Marathon?
"Road 88," a docudrama about Japanese pop star Eri Murakawa's battle with leukemia and her determination to run the Honolulu Marathon, will be shown at no charge at this year's Honolulu Marathon Living Aloha Expo at the Hawai'i Convention Center.
The expo runs Dec. 8 to 11. Screening times have not been determined.
Murakawa is a member of the Japanese rock group Boystyle.
