Police search for missing teen

Kaua'i police are looking for a teen missing since October.

Natasha Santos, 14, was last seen Oct. 8, when she was dropped off at school. She is 5 feet 2 and about 103 pounds, with brown hair, dark brown eyes and a tan complexion. Santos has a slim build. Police believe that Santos has run away from home.

Chinatown fight ends in stabbing

A man was in critical condition last night after he was stabbed by another man in Chinatown.

The incident occurred about 7:30 p.m. just outside Maunakea Liquor and Grocery at 1161 Maunakea Street. Police said two men were arguing when one of the men stabbed the other.

The injured man was taken to The Queen's Medical Center in critical condition. Police late last night were searching for the assailant.



Holdup reported in Hawai'i Kai

Police yesterday were checking on a report filed by two men and two women who said they were ordered out of their car at gunpoint about 4:30 a.m. on Kuamauna Street in Hawai'i Kai.

A man believed to be a suspect in the case was stopped a short time later and a shotgun was taken from his car, police said.
