Tonight's Must-See

"The Wizard of Oz" (1939), 6 p.m., TBS. We must be near some holidays now because this classic is back. Judy Garland plays the Kansas farm girl who has been whisked to a world filled with eccentric souls. The result has warmth, wit and some great Harold Arlen songs, sung beautifully by Garland and others. It's one of those rare films that kids and grown-ups can savor simultaneously.

"Hope & Faith," 7 and 8 p.m., ABC. This silly-but-likable series gets two episodes tonight. Both center on Faith (Kelly Ripa), the well-meaning but clueless ex-actress. In the first episode, she wants to baby-sit. First, her sister (Faith Ford) makes her practice on an electronic pseudo-baby. In the second, Nick Lachey (of MTV's "Newlyweds") plays a single dad. To attract him, Faith pretends her nephew is her son.

Of Note

"Joan of Arcadia," 7 p.m., CBS. As the suit comes to trial the family learns more about the accident that left Kevin (Jason Ritter) in a wheelchair. There are also flashbacks to the family's troubles at the time.

"Complete Savages," 7:30 p.m., ABC. Returning to the dating pool, Nick (Keith Carradine) withholds the fact that he has five sons.

"JAG," 8 p.m., CBS. In a nod to recent headlines, Harm and Mac handle the case of suspected abuse at a military prison. This one is set at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.

"Renovate My Family," 8 p.m., Fox. Here's the conclusion of the two-parter that has Phil McGraw (of "Dr. Phil" fame) working with his son Jay, the show's host.

"Third Watch," 8 p.m., NBC. Finney (Josh Stewart) has romantic problems; he doesn't know why the sexy paramedic is ignoring him. There is a bigger problem for his dad (Charles Haid): Davis (Coby Bell) wants revenge for the senior Finney's role in the death of his father.

"Medical Investigation," 9 p.m., NBC. The team tries to learn why plastic surgery led to several deaths.
