Window covers hazard to kids

Advertiser News Services

You're a conscientious parent when it comes to your children's safety. In fact, with car seats and safety belts, bikes, toys, foods, and more, you're overly careful. But have you considered the potential dangers of your window coverings? Levolor Window Fashions offers several tips:

  • Never leave children unattended around window blinds. And keep cribs away from any corded blinds or drapes.
  • In nurseries and playrooms, hang cordless blinds.
  • Hang cords on a hook out of a child's reach. Or use cord shorteners on long-corded blinds.
  • Cut your blinds' lift-cord loop and replace with safety tassels.
