Symphony offering tickets at half price

Advertiser Staff

A half-price sale, good for two days, will enable residents to buy tickets to upcoming Honolulu Symphony classical and pops concerts at a deep discount.

"The goal ... is to share the gift of symphonic music with the entire community," said Stephen Bloom, symphony president, in a statement. Besides supporting the orchestra, Bloom said the sale is an opportunity to introduce children to the symphony experience.

The sale is effective from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday at the symphony box office, 650 Iwilei Road, at Dole Cannery, as well as symphony booths at Windward Mall, Kahala Mall and Ala Moana Center. Telephone charges can be made at (808) 792-2000 or (808) 524-0815 ext. 245.
