An energetic crowd of 5,085 at the Stan Sheriff Center watched the Rainbow Warriors improve to 2-0 by erasing a 22-point second half deficit.

Julian Sensley added 13 points and eight rebounds, Bobby Nash had all 12 of his points in the second half, and Chris Botez contributed 11 points for the 'Bows.
CCU led 54-32 with 14:18 remaining before Blackett and Nash shot Hawai'i back into the game.
CCU opened the game with a 14-6 surge and had a 37-23 lead by halftime. Three Chanticleers were in double-figure points in the first half: Pele Paelay (12), Jack Leasure (11) and Colin Stevens (10). Leasure and Stevens combined to shoot 5 of 7 from 3-point range, and the Chanticleers were shooting 62.5 percent from the field overall. What's more, CCU was out-rebounding the taller 'Bows, 12-9.
The Chanticleers continued their efficient shooting in the second half, and increased their lead to as many as 22. Leasure's 3-pointer from about 24 feet out gave CCU a 54-32 lead with 14:18 remaining.
From there, Hawai'i went on a stunning 19-2 run over the next six minutes to cut the CCU lead to 56-51 with 8:32 remaining. Nash sparked the surge with three 3-pointers.
The 'Bows got as close as 58-57 with 6:23 remaining, but then fell behind by as many as four a few moments later.
Hawai'i finally caught the Chanticleers whe Blackett made two free throws with 2:49 remaining to give the 'Bows a 64-63 lead. It was UH's first lead since the early minutes of the game, and it would hold the rest of the way.
Leasure led CCU with 22 points, and Paelay added 21.
Hawai'i will play at home again on Monday when it hosts Southern Illinois.
