KENT K. TSUKAMOTO has been named the fourth managing partner in the over half-century history of PriceWaterhouseCoopers' Hawai'i office. He replaces ARTHUR TOKIN, who is retiring after 34 years. In his new position, Tsukamoto will oversee company operations and manage the office staff. Over a 26-year career with the firm (including two in the firm's Los Angeles office), Tsukamoto has served as auditor, tax consultant, manager, and tax partner-in-charge.

SUSAN L. ING has joined Bank of Hawaii as senior vice president and director of the Marketing Division. She will be responsible for overseeing advertising, market research, direct marketing, client experience, and special promotions and events. She is a former vice president of sales and marketing for DTRIC Insurance Co., in Honolulu, and has worked for Finance Enterprises and Bank of America.

SIDNEY HIGA has been named vice president of technology at World Class Conferencing Inc. He will oversee the firm's nationwide conferencing network, supported through local and remote offices on the East and West coasts. The 20-year telecommunications management veteran was previously IT manager at both Genesys Conferencing and Aloha Conferencing.

Also joining World Class Conferencing Inc. from Genesys and Aloha is ERNEST FULTON, national account manager, Honolulu office. He held the same title at Genesys and Aloha and is a former producing director for Diamond Head Theatre.

• Attorney RICHARD TURBIN has been sworn in as president of the Hawaii State Bar Association for a one-year term that begins Jan. 1. He is founder and president of the Law Offices of Richard Turbin, specializing in personal injury, wrongful death and malpractice. The state bar association is an advocacy group for 4,300 practicing attorneys, and judges in the state.

WARREN K.K. LUKE, president and chief executive officer of Hawaii National Bank, has been elected to a three-year term on the board of directors of the American Bankers Association. Luke also serves on the association's Community Bankers Council, is the Hawai'i state chairman for its Membership Council, and is also president of the Hawaii Bankers Association.

TERENCE C. WADE, a clinical psychologist who has specialized in the treatment of trauma in Hawai'i for over 25 years, has been elected chairman of the Visitor Aloha Society of Hawaii board of directors. He replaces JESSICA LANI RICH who was recently named president and executive director. The association works to ameliorate the negative effects of crime or other misfortune of Hawai'i visitors. Wade is a past president of the Hawai'i Psychological Association.

• Castle & Cooke Homes Hawaii Inc. has promoted CALVIN MANN and SHERMAN WONG to project managers in the Residential Project Management and Land Development Department. They will oversee the firm's new Waikoloa neighborhood and Koa Ridge community, respectively.
