MANUEL "CANDY" CANONIZADO, 78, of Honolulu, died Nov. 22, 2004. Born in Pahala, Hawai'i. Retired longtime Honolulu Rapid Transit mechanic; Grayline Tours mechanic; and Holy Trinity School traffic monitor. Survived by wife, Loretta; sons, Michael and Ron; daughter, Laurie Tokioka; brothers, Daniel, Jon and Moses; seven grandsons; one great-granddaughter. Visitation 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. Friday at Holy Trinity Church; eulogy and Mass, 10:45 a.m.; burial of ashes, 12:45 p.m. at Diamond Head Memorial Park. Aloha or casual attire. ETHEL SUMIKO HAYASHI, 71, of Honolulu, died Nov. 9, 2004. Born in Hilo, Hawai'i. Retired McCully-Mo'ili'ili Public Library assistant. Survived by husband, William; daughter, Karin Iwai; brothers, Tadashi Udo, and Shigeo, Mamoru, Sueji, Ronald, Terry and Allen Sasahara; sisters, Toyoko Yamabe and Yuki Nishihara. Visitation 10 a.m. Saturday at Hosoi Garden Mortuary; memorial service 11 a.m. No flowers. Casual attire.

PEI QIONG HE, 76, of Honolulu, died Nov. 21, 2004. Born in Canton, China. A housewife. Survived by sons, Yong Qiang Lai, Wing Ki Lai, Wing Gong Lai and Yong Yao Lai; daughters, Shao Ping Lai, Shao He Lai and Shao Luan Lai; eight grandchildren. Private service held. CHOY "EDDIE" MEDEIROS, 68, of Honolulu, died Nov. 13, 2004. Born in Honolulu. A retired mason.
