'Ladder' is up against 'Shark' at box office

We don't expect firefighters to win the war at the box office this weekend when "Ladder 49" makes its debuts alongside the highly-anticipated "Shark Tale," but we do expect the big-screen look at firefighters to resonate for a while.
If you don't want to fight the lines for "Shark Tale," check out John Travolta and Co. These two flicks are making October a huge month for movies.
Ladies who wear their hair pulled back are among the most likely to appeal to "mama's boys," so says a national Suave Hair Personality Survey of 1,000 men and women. Other revelations:
Women who have gone gray are more likely to attract smart men than women with light-brown hair. Men with blond hair are three times more likely to characterize themselves as cocky than men overall. Women who are college graduates are almost four times more likely to wear their hair "however it lands or messy" compared with those who didn't finish college.
