Weekly Thoughts
In the Holy Land are two seas. There is Galilee, surrounded by green shores and replete with fish. There is the Dead Sea, which received water from surrounding regions but does not give any out. It hoards every drop it gets. No fish can live in its depths. Trees, flowers and shrubs refuse to grow on its banks. All is desolate waste that violated the basic laws of creation: give or die.
Thoughts by the late Rev. Paul Osumi are selected weekly by his family.
