Fix maddening drip with a piece of string

Got a dripping faucet that you plan to fix tomorrow or at least soon, but the constant drip-dripping is driving you nuts in the meantime?

Just tie a piece of string onto the spout, allowing it to hang under the leak and run into the sink.

The water will silently trickle down the string and into the drain.
