GARDEN EVENTS

Foster Botanical Garden seeks volunteer docents for an eight-week training course. Classes, which will cover the history of the garden, documentation of plants, significant plants and trees, are offered 1-2:30 p.m Tuesdays, through Nov. 16. Last day to enroll is Tuesday. A fee of $15 for the training will be refunded after 25 volunteer hours doing tours for students and special-interest groups. 522-7064.
