CHASON ISHII has been promoted from area office leader of Coldwell Banker Pacific Properties' King Street office to the newly created position of executive vice presidentisales, overseeing operations of the firm's five area offices, as well as the New Agent Training Office. Under his leadership, the King Street office reached a second-place national production volume among 2,500 Coldwell Banker offices and was the state's top producing office. Ishii joined the firm in 2000.

• New officers of the International Council of Shopping Centers, Western Division, Hawai'i, have been announced: state director MARLENE DeCOSTA, managing director/asset services for CB Richard Ellis; government relations committee chair-woman ANNE MURATA, marketing director for The Festival Companies/ Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center; and state operations chairwoman DEBRA MEDEIROS, corporate secretary, Waikiki Trader Corp. The ICSC is a 40,000-member international trade association for the shopping center industry.

ERMY PACPACO, former manager of the Pearl City Burger King, highest-volume Burger King on O'ahu, has been named district manager, overseeing five Burger King locations. In her new role, she will oversee managers at five locations — Pearlridge, Dillingham Plaza, 'Aikahi, Kane'ohe and Hawai'i Kai — plus 14 assistant managers and 150 hourly employees. Her 17-year Burger King career has included training managers, opening new restaurants, overseeing operations and maintaining quality.

• MARLEEN AKAU has been named general manager of Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center, which will begin a $55 million yearlong renovation early next year. The veteran commercial manager, who will oversee overall operations, marketing and accounting, has also served as general manager and property manager for other local properties, including Keauhou Shopping Center, Windward Mall, Aloha Tower Marketplace, Kawaiaha'o Plaza and Waiakamilo Shopping Center.

• Since his early retirement as Hawai'i district manager of Kmart — after a 33-year career with the retailer — DALE FISHELL has been named vice president of operations for the Islander Group. In his new position, he will oversee distribution for the O'ahu-based wholesaler of books, music, and gift and souvenir products. Fishell moved to Hawai'i as Kmart district manager in 1993, and added responsibilities for Guam and Alaska in 1999 and 2001, respectively.

• Marriott International Inc. which recently took over long-term management for the 545-room Waikoloa Beach Marriott Resort on the Big Island, has named NIHAD KATTAN general manager. Kattan was most recently general manager of the JW Marriott Caracas in Venezuela and, before that, the San Salvador Marriott Hotel in El Salvador. His 23-year Marriott career has included assignments at properties in Washington, D.C.; Mexico; California; Texas; and Oklahoma.

First Hawaiian Bank has announced two officer promotions:

MARTIN K. PE'A has been promoted from information technology auditor to assistant vice president and senior IT auditor in the bank's audit division.

• MARIA V. BARTOLOME has been promoted from consumer lending product management officer to small-business product manager in the retail credit products department.
