JUANITO RULONA CUA, 97, of Honolulu, died Oct. 5, 2004. Born in Labu-On, Calape, Bohol, Philippines. Survived by wife, Fortunata "Turning"; son, Santiago Husain Jr.; sisters, Patricia Nicanor and Romana; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. Visitation 6 p.m. Thursday at Mililani Downtown Mortuary; service 7 p.m. Visitation also 8:15 a.m. Friday at the Catholic Co-Cathedral of St. Theresa; burial 11 a.m. at Mililani Memorial Park.

WARREN YOSHIKATSU ISHII, 66, of Pearl City, died Sept. 30, 2004. Born in Honolulu. Retired Unisys Corp. customer engineering support employee. Survived by sister, Irene Maeda; two nieces. Graveside service 10 a.m. Saturday at Hawaiian Memorial Park, Mountain View Section. Casual attire. Arrangements by Hosoi Garden Mortuary.

HIDETO KONO, 82, of Honolulu, former director of the state Department of Planning and Economic Development, and past chairman of the state Public Utilities Commission, died Oct. 2, 2004. He was born in Kaumana, Hawai'i, and was a member of the 442nd Regimental Combat Team and the Military Intelligence Service. He is also a past president of Castle & Cooke East Asia Ltd.; president of the Japan-America Institute of Management Science, and recipient of the Order of the Rising Sun (Gold Rays with Rosette), imperial decoration by the government of Japan. Survived by wife, Fannie; sons, Dwight, Dayne and Daryn; daughter, Laurel Hayama; eight grandchildren; sisters, Chieko Hamai, Kimiko Matsumoto and Amy Enright. Visitation 3 p.m. Saturday at Hosoi Garden Mortuary; service 4 p.m. Casual attire. No flowers.

HYANG SOON ANN LEE, 63, of Mililani, died Sept. 28, 2004. Born in Japan. Survived by husband, Herman; son, Kenneth Moon; daughter, Mija Brown; two grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brother, Cha Won Moon; sisters, Kum Cha Moon and Song Ja Davis. CAROLINE DIZON MILLER, 81, of Kailua, died Sept. 27, 2004. Born in Manila, Philippines. Retired hula instructor and travel agent. Survived by son, Bruce; daughters, Valerie, Melita "Lee" Miller-Kalama, Claire Randall and Coralee "Cookie" Talmage; three grandchildren; brothers, Joseph, Victor, Benjamin and George Dizon. MORRIS MINORU MIYASATO, 82, of 'Aiea, died Sept. 23, 2004. Born in North Hilo, Hawai'i. Retired Atlas Insurance Agency sales agent.
