Car chase ends with one critically injured in Pearl City

Two police officers received minor injuries and two other men were hurt — one critically — after a shooting today in Pearl City.Police said the incident started with an auto theft in Waipahu shortly after 11 a.m. The police pursuit of the suspects ended at 11:14 at Kamehameha Highway and Acacia Road.
Emergency medical personnel said one 18-year-old man was taken to The Queen's Medical Center in critical condition.
Officials said eastbound lanes of Kamehameha Highway were closed at Acacia Road, and all eastbound traffic was being re-routed onto Acacia Road.
