Mililani romps to divisional title, 34-7

Maka Kahoano threw three touchdown passes and ran for another, helping the Mililani Trojans clinch the O'ahu Interscholastic Association's Western Division championship with a 34-7 victory over the host Wai'anae Seariders last night.

The Trojans, ranked No. 3 in The Advertiser's top 10, finished 8-0 overall and 6-0 in their division. Wai'anae fell to 2-6, 1-5.

After Wai'anae took a 7-0 lead on Kala Honda's 14-yard TD pass to Leroy Lee-Kiaaina, the Trojans answered with 34 straight points.

Kahoano threw a 15-yarder to Nick Rogers, a 16-yarder to Kekoa Perbera and a 9-yarder to Jon Santos.
