• "The Grudge": A remake of a popular Japanese horror series. Sarah Michelle Gellar stars as an American exchange student/social worker in Japan who stumbles upon supernatural horrors. Jude Law and Naomi Watts are spokespeople for the Huckabees chain store, which hires Schwartzman as a cover for its own plans to desecrate some swamplands. • "Surviving Christmas": Ben Affleck stars as a rich lonely guy who hires the family that's living in his boyhood home to be his family for the holidays.
