Legislators-in-Residence to conduct sessions at UH

Sen. Les Ihara, D-9th (Kapahulu, Kaimuki, Palolo), and Rep. Galen Fox, R-23rd (Waikiki, Ala Moana, Kaka'ako), will conduct a series of on-campus sessions on a variety of topics in the fall semester 2004 Legislators-in-Residence program through the University of Hawai'i Public Policy Center. The lineup of topics scheduled for discussion sessions, from noon to 1 p.m. in Saunders Hall Room 704, include:
Nov. 1 Sociology, youth violence/drugs.
Nov. 8 Political Science, post-election discussion.
Nov. 15 Urban and Regional planning, transportation/mass transit.
Nov. 22 Public Policy Center, best practices for effective policy making.
