UH soccer falls in San Francisco, 1-0

The University of Hawai'i women's soccer team concluded its regular season with a 1-0 loss to San Francisco last night.
The Rainbow Wahine fell to 12-6-2 after losing two of three games on a road trip to California.
Stephanie Gray scored in the 53rd minute as the Dons improved to 9-6-3.
Natasha Kai's header, which sailed over the crossbar in the 65th minute, was the closest UH came to scoring against USF.
The Rainbow Wahine next host the Western Athletic Conference Championships, Nov. 4 to 6.
Defending champions reach 4-ball semifinals
Defending champions Andrew Feldmann and Larry Stubblefield advanced to the semifinals of the Aloha Section PGA 4-Ball Match Play Championships yesterday at Oahu Country Club.
Feldmann and Stubblefield, who ousted Doug Stephenson and Brendan Moynahan, 5-4, in the second round, will play Kevin Hayashi and Jay Taise today.
The other semifinal will match Ron Castillo Jr. and Wade Nishimoto against Shane Abe and Dave Eichelberger.
Semifinal matches will start at 7 a.m., with the final scheduled for 11:30 a.m.
Hawai'i-Hilo freshman Kiilani Matsuyoshi captured medalist honors in a playoff yesterday at The Golf Mart/Lady Otter Invitational in Seaside, Calif.
Matsuyoshi finished at 76155 to tie Sacramento State's Margaux Sheehan.
Hilo shot 671 to finish sixth in the 19-team field. Cal Poly San Luis Obispo won with 638.
