Cheney to visit Hawai'i Sunday

Advertiser Staff

Vice President Dick Cheney will visit Hawai'i Sunday evening for a Republican rally at the Hawai'i Convention Center, the Bush campaign announced today.

The 11 p.m. event is aimed at boosting Republican turnout in the Islands and appealing to undecided voters before Tuesday's election.

Hawai'i polls found that President Bush and Sen. John Kerry are deadlocked in the state, with 12 percent of voters undecided.
