Election Day closings

Here's a list of what will be open or closed Tuesday for Election Day.

• Government: Federal offices, open; state and city offices, closed.

• Mail: Regular service.

• Libraries: Closed.

• TheBus: State holiday schedule. (More information at 848-5555 or www.thebus.org)

• Handi-Van: Operating.

• On-street parking: Free, except for Kalakaua Avenue metered stalls along Kapi'olani Park. Holiday towaway zone parking as permitted by sign. Meters in municipal lots must be fed.

• Traffic: No coning.

• Trash: Regular rubbish pickups.

• Refuse convenience centers: Open.

• Open markets: Not operating.

• Attractions: Parks and recreation centers, municipal golf courses, botanical gardens and Honolulu Zoo open.
