The 2004 Hawai'i Lacrosse Invitational, featuring teams from Canada, Japan, and the Mainland, will be held tomorrow and Sunday at Kapi'olani Park.
The tournament, which features 14 men's elite teams, 10 women's teams, and six men's masters teams (35-older), will be held between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. both days.
The tournament will feature the Powell brothers Casey, Ryan and Mike, considered among the game's top players.
Ryan (2000) and Mike Powell (2004) helped Syracuse win NCAA championships in lacrosse. Mike broke his brothers' school records (Casey and Ryan were tied for career scoring) in 2004.

AlohaCross at Hawai'i Motor Speedway
The first AlohaCross Hawaiian Style SuperCross, featuring many top-ranked professional motocross racers, will be held today through Sunday.
Racing will take place at Hawai'i Motor Speedway in the circle track at Campbell Industrial Park. Racing starts at 7 p.m. today and tomorrow, and runs from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
Ivan Tedesco, Greg Schnell, David Pingree and Billy Laninovich will be among the 15 top-ranked American Motocross Association racers competing. For information, call 864-6771.
Ching to give pointers at ProXtreme Camp
San Jose Earthquakes' Brian Ching, Hawai'i's first Major League Soccer player, will be in attendance for the ProXtreme Soccer Camp at Wai'alae Iki Park.
Sign-ups are being held now for the Dec. 26 to 29 event, with discounts being offered to those who register before Nov. 23. The camp is geared toward beginning and recreational soccer players.
Besides Ching, a Kamehameha graduate and U.S. National team member, Marshall Leonard of the New England Revolution also will attend.

Keiki Sprint Triathlon at Hawaiian Waters
The Keiki Sprint Triathlon will be held 4 p.m. tomorrow at Hawaiian Waters Adventure Park.
The event is open for youngsters ages 7 to 14. Entry fee is $15, plus $50 in pledges to Make-A-Wish, Hawai'i or a $25 flat fee. Information: www.makeawishhawaii.org. Californians capture Kaua'i championship
Californians David Wyrsch and David Balestrieri won the open doubles and Wyrsch won the open singles Sunday in the Kaua'i Open Handball Tournament at Kaua'i Athletic Club.
More than 100 participants from across Hawai'i, the Mainland and Japan participated in the three-day tournament at the club's five courts in Lihu'e.
