Expect some traffic delays with arrival of vice president

Advertiser Staff

Honolulu police are advising motorists of possible delays because of the arrival of Vice President Dick Cheney tomorrow night.

Motorists can expect delays near the Hawai'i Convention Center, where Cheney will make an appearance at a Republican rally. Police will close some roads and reroute traffic, a police spokeswoman said.

Cheney's travel plans were not announced yesterday and it is not known if he will be travelling on H-1 Freeway on his way to and from the airport.
