Hale Ku'ai Cooperative plans celebration Nov. 13

Hale Ku'ai Cooperative, which supports producers of Hawaiian goods and services, will celebrate its 10th anniversary at a celebration from 4 to 7 p.m. Nov. 13 at Queen Emma Summer Palace, 2913 Pali Highway.

The event will begin with the cooperative's annual meeting, with the Hawaiian dinner and entertainment to begin at 5 p.m.

Reservations should be made by Monday. Tickets cost $25, or $10 for children ages 6-13. Children 5 and under are admitted free. Parking is available on the grounds and side streets.

Payment should be sent to: 2201 Kalakaua Ave., Suite A403, Honolulu, HI 96815.

Proceeds from the silent auction will benefit the Hale Ku'ai's not-for-profit project, the Native Hawaiian Business Resource Center.

Locally designed clothing, food items, stone work, and other items will be available for sale at the event.
