Luck doesn't have to be a lady tonight. And if you picked up the Ol' Blue Eyes' reference here, plan to see "My Way," a musical tribute to Frank Sinatra opening at 7:30 tonight at Manoa Valley Theatre. (Elitei Tatafu Jr., pictured left, and Sherry Chock Wong rehearse a number.)
The show runs Wednesdays through Sundays, through Sept. 19. Tickets: $30; discounts for seniors, military and those 25 and younger. Call 988-6131.
Chocolate 'lava' flows at parties
The hottest thing on the party circuit? A chocolate fountain it spews not water, nor even champagne, but molten chocolate. It's also turning up at movie premieres ("I, Robot," "Van Helsing," "Shrek 2"), birthday parties (David Spade's 40th) and nuptials (the wedding of Kate Beckinsale and Len Wiseman).
On O'ahu, you'll pay $150 to $250 to rent a fountain, not including dipping items, from Hawaii Tents and Events (677-8785). Another option: Chocolate Fountains Hawai'i ($550 includes setup, attendant and cleanup; 924-2626).
Final word
Julia Roberts | pregnant with twins, telling Newsweek how she's just starting to show:
"It does kind of happen overnight. You wake up and go 'Oh my God!' "
