Kai named WAC Offensive Player of the Week

University of Hawai'i junior forward Natasha Kai was named the Western Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week today after scoring three goals — including two in overtime — to lead the Rainbow Wahine soccer team to three straight road wins.It is the first weekly honor for Kai this season, and seventh overall.
The two-time defending WAC Player of the Year's strong week placed her in the WAC's career top five in points with 106.
Boise State freshman Allison Tsuchida, a Punahou graduate, was also nominated for the offensive honor.
The Rainbow Wahine play their next match against Duke in the Outrigger Hotels & Resorts Soccer Classic Friday at 7 p.m. at the Waipi'o Peninsula Soccer Stadium.
