Debate extended by 30 minutes

Tonight's live political debate at 6:30 p.m. on Olelo Community Television's Channel 54 has been extended from 60 to 90 minutes to accommodate nine candidates for mayor of Honolulu: Duke Bainum, Daniel Cunningham, Theodore Gibson, Mufi Hannemann, Lillian Hong, Paul Manner, Glenn Pinho, Michael Powers and Terrence Teruya.

Former mayor Frank Fasi also is seeking the office.
