Advertiser Staff

University of Hawai'i junior forward Natasha Kai was named to the Soccer Buzz National Elite Team of the Week and the Soccer America Team of the Week after leading Hawai'i to three road wins last weekend.

Kai, the two-time defending Western Athletic Conference Player of the Year, scored a goal in each of the team's wins, including two overtime goals against Loyola Marymount and UC Santa Barbara.

Kai, who was named the WAC's Player of the Week, also scored in an upset over Southern California.

The Rainbow Wahine are hosting the Outrigger Hotels & Resorts Soccer Classic. They play Duke Friday, and Long Beach State Monday. Both games are at 7 p.m. at the Waipi'o Peninsula Soccer Stadium.
