Hawai'i Youth Opera Chorus auditions for the coming season for grades 2-3 at 8:30 a.m., grades 4-12 at 10:30 a.m., grades K-1 and boys with changed voices at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Kawaiaha'o Church basement. Students learn vocal technique, ear training, sight singing, music theory and history. Rehearsals every Saturday and performances scheduled through the end of the year.
