University of Hawai'i junior forward Natasha Kai was named to the Soccer Buzz National Elite Team of the Week and the Soccer America Team of the Week after leading the Rainbow Wahine to three road wins last weekend.

Kai, the two-time defending Western Athletic Conference Player of the Year, scored a goal in each of the wins, including overtime goals against Loyola Marymount and UC Santa Barbara.

Kai, who was named the WAC's Player of the Week, also scored in an upset over Southern California.

It was the second time Kai earned the distinction for each publication.

Hawai'i (3-1-1) is hosting the Outrigger Hotels & Resorts Soccer Classic. UH plays Duke today, and Long Beach State Monday. Both games are at 7 p.m. at the Waipi'o Peninsula Soccer Stadium. Wrong information on the Long Beach State match was printed in some editions of yesterday's Advertiser.
