Island Air to add Lihu'e to routes

Island Air will offer service to Lihu'e, Kaua'i, beginning Oct. 4, the airline said yesterday.

Two daily round-trip flights will run between Lihu'e and Kahului, Maui, and two between Lihu'e and Honolulu.

The addition of the Lihu'e service will bring to 94 the daily interisland flights by Island Air. The airline operates a fleet of nine 37-seat de Havilland Dash-8 aircraft.
