Basil
Tag no. 39651 Basil loves to bask in the sun and watch the birds outside. Just a year old, Basil gets along well with adults, older kids and other cats. She has a charming crooked tail, pretty green eyes and a "tortoise-shell" coat of black, white and orangey-tan.
Ehu
Tag no. 381. If you're looking for another dog to join the family, come and meet Ehu. This 3-year-old Labrador mix gets along with most other dogs. He is a confident adult, tall and handsome, and will do well in a training class that uses positive reinforcement.
Found
Chicita
Tag no. 39994. This 5-year-old calico-tiger cat is called Chicita. She was found Aug. 22 and remains uncl-aimed at the humane society. If you have lost this cat with beautiful yellow eyes, please visit the shelter to claim her.
These particular animals already may have found homes. The Hawaiian Humane Society and McInerny Dog Park at 2700 Wai'alae Ave. are open noon to 8 p.m. weekdays, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekends.
